Variations panel

The Variation panel is available only when “Variable product” product type is selected. You are required to define attributes before you can configure variations. Variations allows you to define different options with different pricing for a single product. For example, you can define different pricing for automatic transmission and manual transmission cars of the same brand, model and model year, in a single product listing. Variation can help you conserve your product listing cap.

  1. Default Form Values:- Select values from the available attributes fields to define which variation will be displayed by default.
  2. Use the “Variations Bulk Options” setting to set parameters that apply to all variations. Do not touch this field unless you are sure of what you’re doing.

It is now time to configure the actual variations. This is how it works: Suppose your product has colour and condition attributes. You can create different variations for different colour-condition combinations that have different pricing. For example,

New black (i.e Black + New) = ₵520

New white (i.e White + New) = ₵500

Used blue (i.e Blue + Used) = ₵300

Any damaged (i.e Any colour + Damaged) = ₵60

You can create as many variations as there are available attribute permutations. You can perm more that two attributes. Configure the options inside the large box.
