Attributes panel

The attributes panel allows you to define attributes for you products. Attributes include product qualities such as colour, size, type, manufacturer, model, etc that shoppers can use to narrow down their search. Defining attributes for your product makes it easier for shoppers to find it. Select only attributes that are applicable to the current product. For example, you do not want to select gender attribute for a car product listing.

  1. Check an applicable attribute to activate it.
  2. Select the applicable attribute terms from the drop down. For example, if you are listing a phone and have black, white and red colours available, select only those colours from the available attribute terms. You do not want to select brown colour when you do not have brown-coloured phones available for the brand and model you are listing.
    You may use the “SELECT ALL” or “SELECT NONE” buttons when needed
  3. Uncheck the “Visible on the product page” option if you do not want the attributes to be displayed on the product page.
  4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 for as many attributes as are applicable to the product.

Tips:

  1. You can expand and collapse each attribute by clicking the arrow at the right of each attribute box.
  2. You can rearrange the attributes so that the most important ones display first on the single product page. To do this, simply grab any part of the attribute’s container (check box and collapse button excluded) with your mouse and drag it to wherever you want it.
