Buying policy

Information

Buyers must provide accurate information to daapia.com whenever it is requested from them. It is especially critical to provide valid and accurate shipping and contact information since sellers may not be able to ship products to you if this information is wrong. A buyer who provides wrong shipping information should work with the seller to sort it out. Such buyers may not be covered by daapia.com’s buyer protection.

Order cancellation

A buyer is allowed to cancel an order for any reason whatsoever. However, this action may come at a cost.

  1. A refund will be issued to the buyer for the cancelled order less 1.95% of the order value. This is to cover payment processing fees. If the cancellation is initiated by the seller because they cannot fulfill the order, the seller, instead of the buyer, will pay the penalty.
  2. If the order cancellation is initiated after the seller had already shipped the order,
    1. and the seller’s return and refund policy DOES NOT PERMIT order cancellation after shipping, the buyer will not be entitled to a refund;
    2. and the seller’s return and refund policy PERMITS order cancellation after shipping, the buyer will be entitled to a refund. The refund amount will be determined by the seller’s return and refund policy;
    3. the buyer may have to pay for the original and return shipping fees, subject to the seller’s return and refund policy.

Make sure to read the seller’s return and refund policy carefully.

Returns and refunds

Every seller should have a Return and refund policy that explains the conditions for returns and refunds. Read this policy and the daapia.com’s Return and refund policy carefully before making a purchase.

Note that customers’ orders will be refunded only when the seller is found to be at fault in a dispute.

Refund requests will be available for 7 days from the date of order placement. Buyers must submit complaints about the order to daapia.com within these 7 days.

As much as we have developed this policy to protect both sellers and buyers, we recommend that when there are problems buyers and sellers should first try to resolve them before contacting daapia.com. However, buyers should be cautioned that they should not engage sellers past the 7 days within which refunds are permitted without filing for a refund. Buyers should apply for refund within the 7-day period if sellers are unable to resolve the problem for them within the period.

Dispute resolution

In the event a buyer has a dispute with a seller about an order, the buyer must first contact the seller and try to resolve the dispute. If the buyer is unable to reach a solution with the seller, the buyer must next contact daapia.com to intervene in the dispute and possibly issue a refund to the buyer. Only if daapia.com fails to resolve the dispute can the buyer lodge a chargeback request with their card provider.
