Accepting offline payments

Introduction

If you are not comfortable accepting online payments, you have the option to accept payments offline. This, however, means that you will be missing the benefits of accepting online payments, that is, speeding up the payment process and increasing customers’ confidence to buy from you. Note that when customers pay you offline, they are not protected by daapia.com’s Buyer Protection, thus their lowered confidence to buy from you. If you want to only accept payments offline, you must take the necessary steps to set up your products to prevent customers from paying for them online. Follow these instructions to set up your products to avoid receiving online payments for your products.

Enabling catalog mode

1. Access your seller dashboard by logging into your account.
2. Create a new product or edit an existing product.
3. Check the “Catalog” option (Under the product type selection box).

4. Scroll down to the panel at the bottom of the page.
5. Click “Catalog Mode”.
6. Check the “Disable Add to Cart?” option.

Ensure that you do not check the “Hide Price?” option, unless you really intend to hide your product’s price from shoppers. Check this option if you want shoppers to contact you for pricing.
