Cancellation policy

If a seller cancels an order after a customer’s payment had already been processed, the seller pays a penalty of 1.95% of the order value. This is to cover payment processing fees. The penalty value will be deducted from any subsequent withdrawal by the seller. To avoid having to cancel orders and incur this penalty, make sure that your products are not made available for purchase when you ran out of stock. If the cancellation is initiated by the buyer, the seller will not have to pay any penalty; the buyer will be responsible for all penalties, unless the seller’s cancellation policy provides otherwise.

A seller may allow buyers to cancel orders after they had already been shipped, before the buyer receives the products. The seller’s return and refund policy should indicate what percentage of the order value will be refunded to the buyer. This percentage cannot be more than 100% (items value + shipping). The seller may require the buyer to pay the original shipping cost (if shipping was free) and the return shipping fee (if handled by the seller, e.g. if the seller is able to recall the shipment and have to pay a recall fee). If a seller decides to fully refund a buyer for a cancellation initiated by the buyer, the seller will pay a penalty of 1.95% of the order value to cater for payment processing fees. The penalty value will be deducted from any subsequent withdrawal by the seller.

Your policies can influence your sales. Ensure that your policies are not unreasonable for buyers to follow.
